Police: Woman tossed water on admin at Rock Hill elementary school
Police were called to Sunset Park Elementary School on Monday after an unidentified woman threw water on an assistant principal.
Rock Hill police responded to the Ogden Road campus around 3:15 p.m. Monday after the victim told police she saw the woman walking on school property around dismissal time, and approached the woman to see if she was looking for a child.
When asked if she could help her, the woman reportedly responded “no,” and left the property, only to return 10 to 15 minutes later and ask the front office for the woman who had been “rude” to her. When the woman came into the assistant principal’s office, she reportedly became “agitated,” and began throwing water from a bottle onto the administrator, her desk, chair and bookshelf.
The woman had left by the time officers arrived, and no one at the school could identify the woman. Witnesses described the woman as walking away from the school with a small girl. Staff were advised to call the police if the woman returned to the school.
