Two arrested in Rock Hill with heroin, meth, stolen ID and cards
Two people were arrested late Tuesday after police found them with methamphetamine, heroin and other drugs as well as credit cards that may have been stolen, a police report said.
Christopher Ricky Batchler, 28, and Danielle Nicole Williams, 31, were arrested on charges that include possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of other controlled substances and shoplifting, according to a Rock Hill police booking report.
Officers were called to the Murphy’s Gas Station on Dave Lyle Boulevard in Rock Hill late Tuesday for a report that two people had taken a $3.99 case of water without paying for it.
Police were told the suspects were driving a gold Jeep, which officers saw and stopped on Dave Lyle Boulevard. The man said his name was Joshua Jackson, but said he did not have any identification; the woman provided a license with a false identification police said the photo on the ID did not match the woman.
The two suspects, who were asked to step out of the vehicle, later told police their names were Batchelor and Williams, the report said.
Police searched the vehicle and found small doses of meth and heroin, as well as 32 doses of Gabapentin and 16 doses of Alprazolam, the report said. They also found a purse and a wallet with credit cards that may have been stolen, the report said.
Batchelor and Williams were being held in the Rock Hill city jail Wednesday.
