Shots fired into moving truck in Rock Hill

Someone fired shots into a moving vehicle while a woman was driving along a Rock Hill road, according to deputies.

A 49-year-old Edgemoore man called York County Sheriff’s Office earlier this week to report that his daughter was driving on Collins Road in Rock Hill when projectile from a gun hit the window of his truck, a sheriff’s office report states.

The shot came from one of the homes on the road.

A neighbor told the man one of his windows was shot out several months ago by a “guy across the street,” the report states. The guardian of the alleged 20-year-old suspect told authorities he “has not shot out any windshields in months.”

Authorities continue to investigate.
