Fort Mill man admits sexual exploitation of 13-year-old Kansas girl

A Fort Mill man admitted Thursday to using a 13-year-old Kansas girl to make child pornography.

Robert P. Dickson, 48, pleaded guilty in federal court in Wichita to two counts of producing child pornography.

Dickson admitted that after communicating with the girl online, he convinced her to send him sexually explicit images of herself.

In March 2014, he traveled to Kansas and had sex with the girl. He recorded the sexual activity and took the images with him back to South Carolina.

Sentencing for Dickson is scheduled for July 11. Attorneys will recommend a 25-year sentence as part of the plea agreement.
