Roomba thieves make clean get-away from Rock Hill store
Two men got away after stealing three vacuum cleaners valued at more than $1,700 from a Rock Hill store, according to police.
The two suspects entered the Lowe’s on Springdale Road just after noon Monday and walked to the vacuum aisle, according to a police report. They grabbed three Roomba vacuum cleaners valued at $1,772 and walked to the front of the store.
As an employee approached the men, they ran out the front door and fled in a vehicle, police said. The car had a North Carolina license that did not belong to that vehicle.
No arrests have been made.
