Report: York woman fired gun in home during argument
A York woman is accused of shooting a gun in her house during an argument, according to law enforcement records.
Deborah Deloris Martin Dunlap, 52, of Old Puckett Place, was charged with first-degree assault and battery and discharging a firearm into a dwelling, according to jail records. She was placed in the York County Detention Center, where she remained Wednesday under $15,000 bond.
Deputies were called to Dunlap’s home Monday evening and spoke with two people who said Dunlap became upset and started shooting a gun in the home, according to a report from the York County Sheriff’s Office. One witness said Dunlap shot at his foot during an argument.
Dunlap told officers she shot the gun in the home. The .22-caliber gun was found in a cabinet in the laundry room, and inside the gun were eight live rounds and one spent round, deputies said.
