A Clover woman was charged with felony DUI after a two-car crash Sunday that left a man hospitalized, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.

Amanda Lynn Urbinato, 29, was placed in the York County Detention Center, where she remained Monday under $15,000 bond, according to jail records.

Urbinato was driving south in her 2000 Ford Explorer on S.C. 49 about 1:10 p.m. Sunday when she tried to make a left turn at North Shiloh Road, failing to yield the right of way and hitting a southbound 2000 Honda sedan, according to Lance Cpl. Gary Miller of the Highway Patrol.

The driver of the Honda, a 55-year-old York man, was taken by ambulance to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, Miller said. His condition was unknown Monday.

Neither Urbinato nor her 33-year-old passenger were injured, Miller said. Urbinato was not wearing a seat belt, and it was unclear if her passenger was wearing one.
