2 adults, juvenile charged in Rock Hill armed robbery
Three people, including a juvenile, were charged in connection with a Sunday afternoon armed robbery in Rock Hill, according to police.
The robbery was reported just after noon in the 800 block of Neely Road, according to a police report. Officers pulled over a vehicle matching the description provided by the victim, and the SUV’s occupants matched the suspects’ description. Police stopped the vehicle at a business on Saluda Road.
The victim identified the suspect who robbed him, a 16-year-old boy, by name, police said. He was robbed of his cellphone and $120 cash.
During the traffic stop, officers asked Willie Brumfield where his brother was, and Brumfield said he was at home, police said. Officers learned the other male in the car sitting next to Brumfield was Brumfield’s 16-year-old brother.
Brumfield was charged with hindering police, according to the report. The driver, Lilderricka Jones, was charged with armed robbery and possession of marijuana, with the drug charge stemming from marijuana found under the driver’s seat.
The juvenile was charged with armed robbery and breaking and entering a motor vehicle, the report states.
