2 Rock Hill minors petitioned after nude photos sent on social media

Rock Hill police petitioned two juveniles to Family Court after one of them sent nude pictures of the other to friends on social media, according to law enforcement records.

A concerned parent notified police Tuesday about “nude pictures” being posted online, according to a police report.

An investigation revealed that a girl received several nude pictures from a boy during the course of their relationship, which ended Friday, the report states. The girl on Tuesday allegedly sent two of the pictures to a group of friends on Snapchat.

The boy admitted to having sent the pictures to the girl while they were dating, and the girl admitted to sending the pictures to friends on Snapchat, police said. Both juveniles, whose names and ages were redacted from the report, were petitioned to Family Court for unlawful communication and released to their parents.
