Police: Rock Hill man finds vulgar signs in yard
A Rock Hill man called police Tuesday claiming harassment after he found several signs in his front yard that had both vulgar language and his cellphone number on them, according to a police report.
The man woke up Tuesday morning to find the signs in his yard on Eastwood Drive and told police he believed his estranged wife planted the signs after other incidents of harassment, the report states.
Police contacted the wife, who told officers she did not put the signs there, and a grandchild confirmed her alibi of being at home at the time of the incident. The wife told police that the man “has several girlfriends who could have done this.”
Officers placed the wife on trespass notice for the husband’s home at the request of the husband, and the case was closed without arrest.
