Police: Rock Hill man cut two relatives, charged with assault
A Rock Hill man was charged with aggravated assault after attacking two family members with a sharp object, according to police.
Ramone Rodrigo Hope, 36, was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and first-degree assault, according to a police report. He remained in the Moss Justice Center on Monday under $65,000 bond.
Officers responded to a disorderly call in the 200 block of Sunset Drive just after midnight Saturday and found two people with “severe lacerations,” according to a report. Hope was arrested.
The two victims were taken by ambulance to Piedmont Medical Center, police said. The victims’ mother told officers she and her three sons were having a family argument when Hope attacked the victims with a sharp object.
