A York teenager was arrested on accusations that he assaulted and bit his girlfriend in front of his 13-year-old sister.

Daniel Boggs, 18, is charged with second degree domestic violence, according to the York County Sheriff’s Office. He was booked late Tuesday at the York County jail on a $5,000 bond.

The girlfriend told deputies she believed Boggs was cheating on her. She became upset and tried to leave but he “pulled her by the hair and pushed her up against the wall,” refusing to let her leave, a report states.

He then bit her on the neck, causing visible injury, according to the report.

Boggs claimed he went to hug her and “that’s how his teeth ended up on her neck,” deputies said.

The younger sister was present during the altercation and corroborated with the victim’s statements.

EMS treated the girlfriend on the scene.
