Rodriguez was arrested in Fort Mill on Thursday by Rock Hill detectives and York County deputies.
He is accused in the armed robbery of the 7-Eleven on the 1600 block of Cherry Road on Dec. 4, 2014, according to a police report. A clerk and customer inside the store at the time told officers a man wearing a gray athletic suit with a hood over his head and a black bandana over his face entered the store.
The suspect had a silver revolver and demanded money from the cash register, police said. He then instructed the clerk to open the safe, but the clerk said he didn’t have access to it.
