A Rock Hill Walmart employee is accused of stealing over $1,100 from her cash drawer over several days, according to police.

Alexis Pitts, 21, was charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent, according to a police report. She was placed in the Rock Hill city jail.

Officers on Monday met with a store official at Walmart on Dave Lyle Boulevard, who told them Pitts had taken $1,150 from the register she was working at the pharmacy, according to a police report. The thefts happened on four days between July 19 and July 27, and officers obtained surveillance DVDs reportedly showing the thefts.

Pitts gave a written statement to store officials admitting to the thefts, police said. She later admitted the same to an officer and was arrested.
