Six casings found after gunshots reported outside Rock Hill home

Rock Hill police are investigating after several gunshots were fired outside a home early Thursday.

The shooting happened just after midnight on Annafrel Street, according to a police report. The resident who called 911 said she heard several gunshots outside her home and saw three or four men leaving the scene afterward. Officers found six 9mm shell casings in the roadway.

A neighbor also reported hearing several gunshots and saw three men near the corner of her home, police said. The men reportedly walked to a home on Annafrel Street and went inside.

Officers spoke with the men at the home, and they said they were at that home “to visit some girls who were there,” the report states. The men said they knew nothing about the shooting police were investigating.

The men were released at the scene after police checked them for warrants and found none. No arrests have been made.
