A York man caught with more than 600 child pornography pictures on his computer has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty, according to court records and prosecutors.
Logan Scott Williams, 29, pleaded guilty Monday to 10 counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to a spokesperson from the S.C. Attorney General’s Office which handled the prosecution of the case.
State prosecutors often handle internet pornography crimes
Williams was arrested after a 2014 online investigation showed that Williams sent a police officer child porn on a file sharing network, prosecutors said. When Williams was arrested in February 2015, Williams admitted to downloading child porn to his computers and other devices.
