State Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman has named four Rock Hill principals to her newly formed Principal Advisory Council.

The council will provide Spearman with feedback “from a principal’s perspective on education in South Carolina schools.”

The Rock Hill principals on the council are: Ozzie Ahl of Rock Hill High, Norris Williams of Dutchman Creek Middle, Brenda Campbell of Saluda Trail Middle, and Denise Khaalid of Oakdale Elementary.

“Principals play an important role in our school community,” Spearman said. “Great teachers want to work for great principals. The principals on this council have already proven themselves with their ability to lead. They will play a valuable role in advising me on ways to develop the next generation of great principals in South Carolina.”
