York Technical College Foundation adds 3 new board members

The York Technical College Foundation has added three new members to its Board of Directors.

Lori Dominguez, Vernon Prosser and Robert Hall joined the board July 1 and will each serve a three-year term, according to York Tech.

The foundation, a non-profit organization, supports financial aid for students, professional development, campus programming and other areas related to the college’s success.

Dominguez, CEO of Dominguez and Rucker Family Dentistry in Fort Mill, graduated from the University of California in Los Angeles. She holds a degree of biology and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University, College of Dentistry.

Dominguez now lives in Fort Mill with her husband and three sons.

Prosser, superintendent of the York school district, has served as an assistant superintendent of finance and operations, executive director of educational support services and director of facilities and maintenance.

Prosser holds a master’s degree in secondary education from the University of South Carolina and a doctorate in vocational and technical education from Clemson University, according to York Technical College.

Prosser also serves on the York Rotary Club and the Western York County Branch of the NAACP. He lives with his wife, Terri, and three children in York.

Hall, who lives with his wife Jan-Rae in Fort Mill, is a member of the management team of DAK Americas, a producer of PET resins, in Charlotte.

Hall graduated from York Tech with degrees in machine tool technology and mechanical engineering technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UNC-Charlotte and master’s degrees from the University of Dallas and Michigan State University.

“York Technical College Foundation is thrilled to have these forward-thinking individuals on board,” said Nicki Nash, president of the York Technical College Foundation Board of Directors. “We know their expertise and leadership in our communities will bring new insight to the foundation board and help us better strategize to expand our reach and to exceed our goals.”
