Rock Hill school-level 2019-20 teachers of year named. Here’s who made the list.

Rock Hill school district leaders have named the 2019-’20 teachers of the year for each school.

Each nominee is up for the title of 2021 District Teacher of the Year, which will be announced in August, a release from the district states.

“We congratulate each of our educators for their dedication and for being chosen to represent their school,” states the release.

Elementary schools

  • Sarah Aycock: Belleview Elementary School, Physical Education
  • Enrique Saavedra: Cherry Park Elementary School of Language Immersion, 4th Grade Spanish Immersion
  • Gwendolyn Trott: Ebenezer Avenue Elementary, Music
  • Sara Sawczuk: Ebinport Elementary School, School Librarian (PreK - 5)
  • Dawn Beckler: Finley Road Elementary, First Grade Teacher
  • Alicia Greene: Independence Elementary, Special Education
  • Andy Morton: India Hook Elementary School, Fifth Grade
