One of Fort Mill’s newest schools will have a new principal this fall

Nicole Randolph will be the new principal at Kings Town Elementary School.

The Fort Mill School District announced the promotion on Thursday. Randolph served as assistant principal at Kings Town since it opened in 2020. Randolph replaces principal Jocelyn Young, who will take over in July as as director of student services for the district.

Randolph holds undergrad and masters degrees in education from the University of South Carolina. Randolph has 14 years in education including as assistant principal at both Kings Town and Fort Mill Elementary schools. Randolph taught at Sugar Creek and Sandhills elementary schools.

District superintendent Chuck Epps said the district is proud to have Randolph lead Kings Town.

“Her familiarity with the school, its students, and its parents will allow for a smooth transition in leadership and continue to build the culture and traditions of this new school,” Epps said in Thursday’s announcement.
