Winthrop University in Rock Hill to graduate nearly 570 seniors Saturday

Nearly 570 Winthrop University students will receive undergraduate diplomas Saturday during the university’s Spring commencement ceremony at the Winthrop Coliseum.

The university held its graduate commencement ceremony Thursday, where 260 people received master’s or specialist degrees.

Saturday’s ceremonies will be divided into two parts. Graduates from the College of Visual and Performing Arts and the College of Arts and Sciences will receive diplomas at 10 a.m. at the coliseum.

At 3 p.m., graduates in the College of Business Administration and the Richard W. Riley College of Education will receive diplomas.

The university will stream the ceremonies on its YouTube channel.
