Rock Hill high school students: Meet your new tool for school
This fall, more than 5,000 students at Northwestern, Rock Hill and South Pointe high schools will have new laptops to work with, the latest wave of computers in the school district’s 1:1 technology program.
The nearly $5 million cost of the laptops – which includes the PCs, protective cases and tracking software – was paid for as part of the $110 million bond referendum voters approved in May. The district spent about $500,000 less than it expected.
