Struve will replace Barry Ledford, who was hired to lead J.L. Mann High in Greenville.

Struve becomes the fourth principal at Catawba Ridge since the school opened in 2019. Catawba Ridge is the Fort Mill district’s smallest but newest high school, with more than 1,700 students.

Struve is a passionate educator who understands high expectations and importance of school culture, Superintendent Grey Young said in Thursday’s announcement. “Her experience, dedication to students and connection to the Fort Mill community make her an outstanding choice to lead Catawba Ridge High School into its next chapter,” Young said.
