Duane Graham named Chester High principal

Duane Graham has been named principal Chester High School for the 2016-2017 school year. He will replace Martin Tiller, who is retiring in May.

Graham is an assistant principal at Chester High School who previously served in the same role at Chester Middle School, where he also taught physical education. He is a 1988 graduate of Chester High.

Graham earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Winthrop University and an educational specialist degree and doctorate in educational administration from South Carolina State University.

“My goal is to ensure that every student is provided the highest quality of education in a safe and supportive learning environment,” said Graham. “I want to continue building relationships with all constituents, thus helping improve our learning community.”
