Rock Hill names 2016-17 school-level teachers of the year
The 2016-17 Teachers of the Year have been named for each school and support program in the Rock Hill school district.
Each school- or program-level Teacher of the Year is eligible to be named the District Teacher of the Year, to be announced in August.
The honorees for each school or program and their teaching areas are:
High schools
▪ Northwestern – Lisa Citro, physical education
▪ Rock Hill – Wendy Rollings, special education
▪ South Pointe – Jessica Kramer, English
▪ Applied Technology Center – Donna Tinkler, health science
Middle schools
▪ Castle Heights – Jason Ramey, seventh-grade social studies
▪ Dutchman Creek – Crystal Gantt, seventh-grade science
▪ Rawlinson Road – Kayla Robinson, family and consumer science
▪ Saluda Trail – Clayton (CJ) Denio, sixth-grade math
▪ Sullivan – Shannon Higgins, eighth-grade science
Elementary schools
▪ Belleview – Meghan Carter, Reading Recovery
