Winthrop forum canceled because of blizzard

A public forum at Winthrop University, “Foreign Aid and the Race to the White House,” featuring Washington Post columnist and former White House speechwriter Michael Gerson has been canceled. The forum had been scheduled for 4:30-5:30 p.m. Monday.

Gerson is stranded in Washington, D.C., because of the blizzard that hit the nation’s capital and much of the East Coast over the weekend.
