Winthrop to award graduate degrees on Thursday

Winthrop University’s graduate commencement exercises will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Winthrop Coliseum. Nearly 245 students will receive master’s or specialist degrees during the ceremony.

Winthrop President Dan Mahony also will present the Jane LaRoche Graduate Faculty Award to Melissa Carsten, an associate professor of management in the College of Business Administration.
