Master’s, specialist degrees awarded at Winthrop

Nearly 245 students received master’s or specialist degrees during Winthrop University’s graduate commencement exercises Thursday evening at Winthrop Coliseum. Winthrop President Dan Mahony presented the Jane LaRoche Graduate Faculty Award to Melissa Carsten, an associate professor of management in the College of Business Administration.
