Mahony holds 2 Winthrop alumni meet-and-greets
Winthrop University alumni are invited to spend an evening with new President Dan Mahony at a special reception next week.
The Oct. 7 event is hosted by the Winthrop Alumni Association, and will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at McBryde Hall. Hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine will be served.
The cost is $10 per person, which includes all food and drink.
A separate event for Charleston-area alumni to meet Mahony is planned for Wednesday at the Hilton Garden Inn Waterfront.
Attendees for both events are asked to register in advance at winthropalumni.com/mahony.
Mahony is Winthrop’s 11th president. He took office July 1.
