Deadly gunfire rings out as neighbors argue over parking, Nevada police say
A man was killed during a dispute with a neighbor over parking, Nevada authorities said.
Officers responded to a call about gunfire shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 18, and found a man with a gunshot wound standing “near a doorway” of a Tipper Avenue home in Las Vegas, a news release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said.
The wounded man was pronounced dead at the scene after medical personnel arrived, Las Vegas Metropolitan police said.
Investigators said that the neighbors were in an argument over parking when the suspect drew a “firearm and shot him.”
The suspect fled before officers arrived, police said.
The victim’s name and cause of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office, according to the release.
