A massive megamansion on the housing market in Evansville, Indiana, has a popular real estate social media page asking the big questions.

Mainly, “why?”

Listed for $8.5 million, the five-bedroom, 11-bathroom home has an exterior that has a White House aesthetic, but it’s the inside that’s drawing questions.

“Exquisite, phenomenal, pristine, elegant, charming and breathtaking are just a few words to describe this unique property,” the listing on Zillow says. “This remarkable 33,000-square-foot home has so much to offer including an 11,000-square-foot area that has many options for its use, such as a car museum, recreational sports area, event facility, etc.”

Features in and around the house include:

  • Two-story great room

  • Curved staircases

  • Chef’s kitchen

  • Gym

  • Billiards room

  • Game room

  • Media room

However, it’s the stark alabaster decor flowing through the entire house that is turning heads on Zillow Gone Wild, a popular Facebook page and Twitter account that highlight unique homes for sale.

“This listing? One big living room to me. You have all that and you can’t even live in it—just look at it,” one person observed. “Oh, you want to walk on this large carpeted space on this floor? Nice try—get out.”

“Don’t think I’ve ever seen white gym equipment,” another said.

“I would be smoking Virginia slims and wearing caftans with a faux fur over it every day of my life if I lived there,” someone joked.

“Only reason I’m not buying this is that I’d never have 26 cars or horses,” one person commented.

“‘Honey did I leave my keys in the formal living room, the office living room, or the kitchen living room?’” another joked. “‘None of them, you left them in the bathroom living room.’”

Living here alone would be a ... horror story,” someone tweeted. “Can you imagine hearing a random sound in the middle of the night? Not that, y’know, I’d turn it down if someone offered it to me for free. BUT.”

The real life Tywin Lannister,” one person said.
