‘I’m confused.’ Show-stopping estate in Iowa bewilders Zillow Gone Wild. Take a look

A popular real estate social media page managed to stumble upon a unique listing in the Hawkeye State — but not everyone is in agreement about its vivid interior.
The 10-bedroom, nine-bathroom home, with a whopping 5,659 square feet, is listed for $430,000 in Dubuque, Iowa .
“Now available - the beautiful and historic Mandolin Inn in Dubuque Iowa! You will want to see this Edwardian masterpiece on the Mississippi!” the listing on Zillow.com describes the old world, Victorian style residence.
Its exterior brims with charm thanks to a wrap-around porch, columns and beautiful windows.
And the inside looks exactly how one would expect, based on the photos.
There are pops of color in each room, ranging from peacock greens and blues with the decor to rose gold walls to lime green cabinets. The rooms seem to have their own individual personalities that shine through with each burst of color.
But opinions are mixed.
The house was featured on Zillow Gone Wild, a Facebook page and Twitter account that highlights interesting homes for sale. While some fans were in love with the exterior, others were confused about the decor inside.
“Structure wise: beautiful home. Seriously. And it looks well kept for a home built in 1900,” one person said. “It’s the decor choice in the dining room that’s throwing off the vibe. Like, that peacock green color scheme seems…random.”
“I’m so confused. It was all going so well downstairs!” another joked.
“Despite the brightness of many of the rooms, I’m still betting it’s haunted,” someone suggested.
“I’d live with some ghosts for that place!” one person commented.
“The woodwork and stained glass windows are absolutely stunning!” another noted. “What a beautiful house, minus the paint and wallpaper in a few rooms.”
“Excuse me? $430,000?!” someone tweeted.
“Has to have a live-in evil spirit to be this price,” one person said.
Dubuque is about 195 miles northeast from Des Moines.
