Popeyes customer pulls gun on workers after argument, Missouri police say
A Missouri man was arrested after police say he pulled a gun on Popeyes employees after an argument.
The 22-year-old went to a St. Louis Popeyes around 8 p.m. July 30, according to a news release from the St. Louis County Police Department.
The man was there to pick up a delivery order when he got into an argument with an employee, police said.
The man was removed from the store by staff. Afterward, he went to his vehicle and retrieved a handgun, according to police.
The man then pointed the gun at Popeyes employees, police said.
A Popeyes employee called 911 and police stopped the man as he was driving away. Officers found a handgun and ammunition in the vehicle, according to police.
The man admitted to police that he had been at the Popeyes location and was upset with employees, police said.
He was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and was being held on a $30,000 cash bond.
