Man arrested in child molestations dating back decades, CA cops say. More victims sought
A 54-year-old was arrested in connection with the child molestations of four kids dating back to the 1990s and 2000s, California officials said.
In October, Huntington Beach officers got reports from a victim of child molestation, according to a Dec. 5 Facebook post by the police department.
After further investigating, police learned about three additional victims with ages ranging from 12 to 16 at the time, officials said.
The man, later identified as George Philip Foord, was living in Huntington Beach during the time of the crimes but now resides in Ridge Manor, Florida, officers said.
A warrant was issued for Foord, and he was arrested and now faces seven counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under age 14, officers said.
Police believe there may be more victims from that time period, so the department attached a photo of Foord’s 2001 California driver’s license to the news release, officials said.
Anyone with information is asked to call 714-536-5967, officers said.
Huntington Beach is about a 40-mile drive southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
