16-year-old stabs and kills mom’s fiancé to break up couple’s argument, Texas cops say

A 16-year-old boy intervened in an argument between his mom and her fiancé and killed a man, Texas deputies said.

Randall Jolley, 39, was found lying on the ground of a Houston apartment with a stab wound in the late hours of March 1, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The teen was arrested and was charged with murder, deputies said.

Officers said the couple was in a verbal argument when the teen stabbed Jolley. Police did not say what the couple had been arguing about.

The teen, who police did not name, is held in the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department.
