A woman in Colorado was arrested after police said she pulled out a gun during a road rage incident.

On March 6, a woman was driving in Commerce City with seven children in the vehicle, all under 10 years old, according to a March 7 Facebook post by the police department.

The woman pulled a gun out and pointed it at another driver, police said.

The driver was able to report the woman’s license plate number to police, who then located the woman still driving.

Officers made a “high-risk traffic stop” and pulled the woman over, police said.

She was arrested and the gun was confiscated, police said.

The woman, who police did not name, faces felony menacing and child abuse charges.

“We’ll keep telling you until you get the message-- don’t terrorize our community members (and in this case, your own children!),” police said in the post.

Commerce City is about a 10-mile drive northeast from Denver.
