Man stabbed wife to death with plastic sword and pliers, Michigan police say
A Michigan man was arrested after authorities said he stabbed his wife to death.
Timothy Morgan, 68, is charged with first-degree murder, according to a May 6 news release from the Detroit Police Department.
Attorney contact information for Morgan was not available.
On May 4, police were called to a home for a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found 67-year-old Kathryn Morgan unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to her back and head, police said.
Paramedics pronounced Kathryn Morgan dead at the scene.
Authorities said Timothy Morgan stabbed his wife multiple times with a plastic sword and struck her in the head with pliers. Shortly after, he turned himself into police.
