A man accused of soliciting explicit photos and video from three teenagers and threatening an adult over nude images she sent him pleaded guilty in Alaska, prosecutors said.

Matthew Jackson, 23, from Shaktoolik, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of cyberstalking, according to federal prosecutors and court documents.

His attorney, Lance Wells, declined to comment in a May 7 email to McClatchy News.

Jackson faces 15 years to life in prison when he’s sentenced in August, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Alaska said in a May 6 news release.

Jackson is accused of asking three 15-year-olds via messages between December 2021 and July 2023 to create and give him sexually explicit photos and videos, prosecutors said.

All of the teens complied, according to prosecutors.

At the same time, Jackson asked an adult for nude images, and then threatened her with them, prosecutors said.

He “began harassing and (threatening) the adult victim via messaging platforms,” according to prosecutors, who said “Jackson alleged he could make money by selling the images, and that he would sell them if the adult victim refused to engage in sexual intercourse with him.”

Shaktoolik is southeast from Nome, in western Alaska.
