Former Vice President Mike Pence is heading to Rock Hill this week. How to see him

Former Vice President Mike Pence will be in Rock Hill on Thursday.

He will visit Lakewood Baptist Church for a National Day of Prayer ceremony at noon, according to the church’s website. The church is located at 3520 Mt. Gallant Rd in Rock Hill.

State Sens. Michael Johnson and Wes Climer, who both represent York County, will join Pence, according to Johnson’s website. State Sen. Josh Kimbrell, who represents Spartanburg County, will also attend, according to Johnson’s website.

The event is open to the public and tickets are not needed, according to Johnson’s website.

The former vice president, who’s been the subject of speculation about a potential 2024 presidential run, has visited a number of early presidential primary states in recent months, including Iowa and New Hampshire. South Carolina is also an early primary state.
