York Co.’s McCall gets another term on Republican National Committee

York County’s Glenn McCall has been re-elected to the Republican National Committee.

McCall, a former York County GOP chairman, was selected Saturday for another term by delegates at the South Carolina GOP convention. He will fill two seats reserved for the Palmetto State on the committee, the other going to Cindy Costa of Charleston, a 20-year incumbent on the RNC.

McCall has served on the national committee since 2008 and this year serves as the vice chairman of the Committee on Arrangements organizing the 2016 Republican National Convention, which will be held July 18 to 21 in Cleveland. His wife, Linda, will serve as a delegate at the convention.

Saturday’s state convention also elected half of South Carolina’s delegation to the national convention, all of whom are pledged to vote for Donald Trump.
