York County veterans office staff nationally certified

All the staff at the York County Veterans Service Office is now nationally certified, a first for the office that assists more than 16,000 York County veterans with benefits and other assistance.

Helping veterans is an honor and privilege, said Joe Medlin, veterans service officer for York County.

“This certification level is not easy to achieve,” he said, “and demonstrates the quality, competency and dedication of the York County Veteran’s Service Office Staff.”

Darrin Jenkins, Robbie Mackey, Debbie Hubbard, Chris Hoagland and Medlin completed certification training at a recent conference.
