Crowds of voters in the Rock Hill region headed out just after dawn Tuesday to polling sites eager to cast ballots for either Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump.

At Ebinport Elementary School, Georgette Martin was at the school right before 7 a.m. when the polls opened. She was midway in the line.

Martin said it’s always important to vote.

“That’s usually what I do,” she said. “I vote early.”

Stacey Rogers brought her son to the school so he could witness the voting process.

“I wanted to let my voice be heard,” she said.

Voters also waiting in a line that snaked around the Applied Technology Center building Tuesday, with voters consistently walking in.
