It’s getting easier to find some low-cost flights at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
On Tuesday, discount carrier Sun Country Airlines said it will make its CLT debut in April, offering twice-weekly direct flights on Mondays and Fridays to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Initial flights start at $58 and $59, the company website shows.
Last week, Spirit Airlines said it will add two new destinations at CLT starting in April with daily, non-stop flights to Dallas-Fort Worth and Nashville, Tennessee, The Charlotte Observer reported. And this month, the Florida-based airline started two direct flights to LaGuardia Airport in New York City and Miami International Airport.
