Bojangles is turning its classic biscuit into a summertime treat.

The new peach cobbler arrived on menus Thursday, July 11, at participating Bojangles restaurants nationwide, according to the Charlotte-based chicken chain.

A spin on the classic dessert, the treat features a Bojangles buttermilk biscuit baked and topped with peaches and cinnamon sugar, a product description reads.

It’s served warm and drizzled with icing.

“Our new Peach Cobbler is a great example of our chefs using the Bojangles pantry along with seasonally available peaches to bring one of the most iconic and loved Southern desserts to life in our restaurants,” Marshall Scarborough, vice president of culinary and menu innovation for Bojangles, said in a news release.

The cobbler will appear alongside other Bojangles sweets, including the Bo’berry biscuit and sweet potato hand pies.

Customers have until the end of summer to try the new dessert, the restaurant.

Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
