Discover tomorrow’s stars today: Lovin’ Life will include Charlotte, Southeast artists
Lovin’ Life Music Fest won’t just have award-winning artists and hit superstars on stage. Several singers and musicians from the Southeast, including Charlotte, will once again be part of the lineup this year too.
For the second annual three-day festival in uptown, one of the stages will be dedicated to performances from aspiring artists from across the region — which will be more than 15 acts that “represent the spirit of the Carolinas: bold, authentic, and full of heart,” organizers say.
“Every artist on the Carolina Ascent Stage has a story worth hearing,” Bob Durkin, co-founder of Southern Entertainment, said in a release sent to CharlotteFive.
“This isn’t just about giving them a slot on the lineup — it’s about elevating the voices of artists who represent the soul of our region. Whether they’re fresh off national tours or playing their first major fest, they bring the same energy, drive, and passion that defines Lovin’ Life.”
Here’s a look at the local lineup for Lovin’ Life Music Fest this year:
Bailey Marie from Gastonia, who made headlines after being expelled for local singing gigs.
Chandler Carpenter & The Reckless Souls, a Southern rock band based in Boone.
Stranger Company, a rock alternative band from Atlanta.
Jaylen Dunham from Charlotte who appeared on “The Voice.”
Garrett Huffman, the 2023 Carolina Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year.
Austin McNeill, a UNC Charlotte alum who made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2023.
Modern Moxie, an indie rock/alternative band from Charlotte.
Camisole, an indie rock band from Charlotte.
Leone & The Ascension, a singer and performer from Rock Hill.
Weekend Friend, an indie rock band from Charlotte.
SOPHIA, an indie alternative rock group from Winston-Salem.
Fudge, an alternative rock band from Wilmington.

Adolescent Dreams, also known as Mikey Gomez, who has ties to the Appalachian Mountains.
Da704, an ensemble of musicians from Charlotte, including former Charlotte City Council member Tariq Bokhari.

After winning over fans at the Lovin’ Life Battle of the Bands, Too Hot for Leather, High June and The Secret Formula Band will also take the stage at this year’s music festival.
