A North Myrtle Beach man was charged Monday in connection with three young girls being sexually assaulted during a six month period last year, according to authorities.

Bryan Dean Furman, 55, was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor/attempt lewd act on a victim under the age of 16; first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 11; second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor between the ages of 11 and 14; and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, police said.

Furman is being held on $67,500 bond at J. Reuben Long Detention Center, according to jail records.

North Myrtle Beach police received information about the incidents on Jan. 19, after three girls, ages 15 to 11 years old, reported the incidents to a woman, according to a police report.

The girls told police that the incidents occurred at Furman’s home and a park and they had occurred for several years, according to the report. Police investigated the incidents and then arrested Furman on the charges.
