Sumter man charged with robbing same convenience store 4 times

According to Sumter police, the man who robbed Frederick’s Citgo on South Guignard Drive on July 14, 2014 same back at least 3 more times to stick up the convenience store.

Sumter police charged Isharaah Rhikim Burgess of Sumter with a series of armed robberies at Frederick’s between July 14, 2014 and February 22, 2015.

In each incident, a masked gunman threatened the clerk and demanded money.

The 19-year-old Burgess was being held at the Sumter-Lee Detention Center Wednesday afternoon.
