Myrtle Beach tourist wins lottery during visit to the Grand Strand

One Myrtle Beach tourist left town with a lot more than just memories.

The tourist won $200,000 on a South Carolina scratch-off lottery ticket.

She bought the $10 “50X” scratch-off at Kangaroo Express on Highway 17 in Little River.

The unidentified winner said, “I’ll be back to SC. We had a wonderful vacation.”

For selling the ticket, Kangaroo Express will receive a $2,000 commission.
