Two girls were killed following a fire at a South Carolina home that left their mother and another sibling hospitalized, according to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.

Serahya Jordan, 6, and Deandolyn Jordan, 8, died within minutes of each other early Monday morning at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Coroner Darryl Ables said in a news release.

Days later, 6-year-old Semerah Jordan died while being treated at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia from injuries she suffered in the fire, according to Ables.

A fire at a Gloverville home in the 200 block of Pine Street was reported at about 12:50 a.m. Monday, according to the release. That’s in the Aiken County area near Langley Pond.

Four children and their mother were taken to Aiken Regional Medical Centers and Doctors Hospital, Ables said. Serahya was pronounced dead at 1:57 a.m., while Deandolyn was pronounced dead at 2 a.m., according to the release.

At 4:28 p.m. Thursday, Semerah was pronounced dead, according to the coroner’s office.

Autopsies will be performed in Newberry to determine the causes of death, Ables said.

A fourth sibling, an 8-year-old boy, and his mother were taken to Aiken Regional Medical Centers with what the coroner’s office called non-life threatening injuries. Further information on the surviving victims’ conditions was not available.

No other injuries were reported.

Information about how long it took to extinguish the fire was not available.

There was no word on where the fire originated, or the cause of the fire. Officials did not say if foul play was suspected, but the deadly fire is being investigated by the coroner’s office along with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
