Search for teenager reported missing from her South Carolina home ends
The search for a missing South Carolina teenager ended.
Taja Fletcher was located and is safe, the Irmo Police Department said at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Fletcher was publicly reported missing by police Monday. The 16-year-old was last seen leaving her home Monday at 7:25 a.m., police said in a news release.
Information about where and Fletcher was found was not available.
There was no word if Fletcher was considered a runaway, or if she was alone when she was last seen. Police did not say if foul play was suspected in Fletcher’s disappearance.
